Story
Kenneth
J. Grosso Chief Executive Officer, and Darren
W. Port, President, started Powered by Professionals
in January of 2002 to help promote the importance of giving
back to the community.
Powered by Professionals was founded on the principal that there
is no such thing as a "self made" man or woman. At
one time or another, we all need others in our life to help
us through the ebbs and flows that life deals to us.
The word "Professionals" in the company name is very
important. Ken and Darren’s definition of a true "Professional"
is a first class type of person that understands that an abundant
life is the result of taking the time to give back to others.
It is these "Professionals" that enhance all of our
lives and make this world a better place, thus; our lives and
communities are powered by professionals that understand
the importance of giving back to others.
Ken and Darren have a tremendous amount of experience in fundraising,
finance, starting and managing businesses, event planning, sales,
marketing and networking. The common ingredient to success in
all of these areas has been their ability to surround themselves
with extraordinary people and to develop deep and lasting relationships.
To date, their company has touched many lives all over the world. By the end of 2008, the company will have raised over $14 million for charities and will have connected over 1,500 individuals to volunteer and job opportunities that have meaning to them. A full client roster can be found
