Amy Ferrone joined the Powered by Professionals team in July 2018 as Manager of Fundraising and Events. Amy comes to PBP with seven years of event planning experience working in planning and executing gala dinners, 5Ks, bike rides, walks, and meetings for top nonprofit clients. Amy worked on 15-20 events yearly, with a proven ability to manage schedules, meet tight deadlines, and produce consistently high-quality events.
Amy began her career in Finance, working for 15 years on Wall Street as an Operations Manager and Consultant. She then spent several years raising her children and honing her organizational and communication skills by planning various annual charitable events that benefitted the John Wayne Cancer Institute and several local charities before beginning her second act in event planning.
Amy lives in Scotch Plains, NJ with her husband and three boys.
