Christina became the Senior Intern Event Coordinator at Powered by Professionals after spending the Fall 2019 semester here as the Events Management and Fundraising Intern. She recently graduated from Seton Hall University in December 2019 with a bachelor’s degree in Diplomacy and International Relations and minors in Nonprofit Studies and German. During her time at Seton Hall she traveled to El Salvador and Haiti to volunteer with the Division of Volunteer Efforts, served as the Philanthropy Chairman for her sorority Alpha Omicron Pi, raised funds and volunteered for the university with the Student Alumni Association, and played soccer for the women’s club soccer team.
Before joining the PBP team, Christina interned and later worked part time at the New Jersey office of the Arthritis Foundation. She helped plan aspects of their annual Walk to Cure Arthritis and worked behind the scenes on their Juvenile Arthritis camp. She also interned at Spectrum Works, a nonprofit in Secaucus, NJ that creates job opportunities and provides training to young adults with autism. Her experiences volunteering for and interning with nonprofits inspired her desire to work in fundraising and event planning to help further these worthy causes.
