Alex Argiris

Alex Argiris joined the Powered by Professionals team in September 2023 as a Development Coordinator. He joined the team after working as Deputy Finance Director for Rep. Mikie Sherrill in New Jersey’s 11^th Congressional District. Prior to joining PBP, Alex also spent time in the Maryland State Senate and gained development experience at a political PAC. He is excited to utilize his experience with political events and fundraising to empower nonprofits and maximize their fundraising potential.

Alex graduated from the University of Maryland in 2022 with degrees in Journalism and Government and Politics. While in College Park, he was a sports broadcaster for the Big Ten Network, WMUC Sports Radio, and the Maryland Baseball Network.
